Apple sucks ass

Apparently Apple has started inserting cryptographic checksums in the DB of music stored on iPods. This breaks 3rd party software for managing your iPod music library, tying the iPod to iTunes.

I’m sure there are a lot of bad reasons for implementing this, like keeping people from creating applications that let people share music directly between WiFi enabled iPod’s and iPhones.

I use iTunes, I own Apple stock, but really, this is complete customer hostile crap. Screw them.

tell me about it. I am on my second i pod classic, each one lasting one week before freezing up. I think they call it the classic because it is a piece of CRAP just like the old ones. I should have learned my lesson, but I guess its my own fault for buying something from them They SUCK!!!!!!!!!

I no longer buy new apple computers or laptops. I now buy Hp or Toshiba. Apple lost me starting with the Ipod and now when refused to let me get the mac fixit repair manuals so I can keep my older systems working. The newest mack I have is an Imac.

I have been thru two (2) Apple iTunes 30GB iPods in the past 3 years. I do nto abuse them, I do nto workout with them (too big) etc… they travel form my desk to my car etc… yet they both have broken. I bought my 2 daughters iShuffle 1st Gen last year and they both have worke dup until now. One of them(that I know of) is not seen by my computer, it does nto flash telling me it is charging etc… I went to theApple site and read post after poast of the same issues – but no fixes. I have to admit I am not very pleased with the absolutly shitty product Apple is putting out. If I somehow abused/really used my iPod in an extreme manner then I could understand but I do nto and they continue to fail. I have recently sold my entire Cd collection and am pretty much stuck in the Apple world. BEWARE before you buy an Apple – maybe by some other brand and keep all of your files true MP3 files. I thought that “an Apple a day” was meant to keep the doctor away – not that I would be buying/replacing something from Apple daily.

Itunes sucks ass! This is the stupidest application I have ever seen. It corrupts my music files for no particular reason and then it won’t update my ipod, it hangs when it finds a corrupted file. Bottom line – it rolls back all the updates if one record fails!!! This is such bullshit not to count on all the other music rights that apples robbes you from. I’ve had it with apple.
